Acupuncture is the cornerstone of our practise at Acupuncture Clinic. Our licenced acupuncturists use fine, sterile needles to stimulate specific points on the body, helping to restore balance and promote healing. Acupuncture can be used to treat a wide range of conditions, including pain, stress, and digestive disorders.

Cupping is a therapeutic technique that involves placing cups on the skin to create suction. This helps to increase circulation, reduce inflammation, and promote relaxation. Cupping can be used to treat a variety of conditions, including muscle pain, respiratory issues, and anxiety.

Herbal medicine has been used for thousands of years to promote health and wellness. At Acupuncture Clinic, we offer a range of herbal remedies that can be used to treat a variety of conditions, including allergies, insomnia, and digestive issues. Our licensed acupuncturists will work with you to create a personalized treatment plan that includes the use of herbal medicine.

Auricular therapy, or ear seed therapy, is a gentle, needle-free treatment based on Traditional Chinese Medicine. Small ear seeds are placed on specific points of the ear to provide continuous stimulation, helping support balance, relaxation, and overall well-being. It is commonly used to support stress relief, sleep, pain management, and emotional health, and is suitable for those who prefer a non-invasive option.

Not sure if acupuncture is right for you? Our free 15-minute in-person consultation is a relaxed, no-pressure opportunity to meet your acupuncturist, talk about your concerns, and ask questions. At En Yang Acupuncture Clinic, we take a holistic approach to healthcare, grounded in both tradition and modern clinical practice. We believe the body has an innate ability to heal itself, and our role is to support and enhance that process through acupuncture and other natural therapies.
The name En Yang reflects the foundation of our philosophy and our family heritage.
“En (恩)”, meaning grace and kindness, honors my grandfather’s name, while “Yang (阳)”, meaning light and vitality, honors my father’s name. Traditional Chinese Medicine and acupuncture have been practiced in my family for generations, shaping a deep respect for thoughtful, patient-centered healing.
Today, En Yang Acupuncture Clinic continues this legacy by combining classical Chinese medicine principles with evidence-informed care, focusing on precision, compassion, and long-term wellness.
As a licensed acupuncturist, I bring together a strong background in life sciences and a deep-rooted family tradition in Traditional Chinese Medicine.
I hold a Master’s degree in Life Sciences and spent over a decade working at the University of Alberta, where I was involved in molecular biology research related to disease mechanisms. During this time, I collaborated with colleagues and co-authored more than ten peer-reviewed publications in internationally recognized scientific journals. This experience provided me with a rigorous scientific foundation and a detailed understanding of human physiology and disease processes.
Following my family’s long-standing tradition in Chinese medicine, I later pursued full-time professional training in acupuncture in Edmonton. After completing a three-year accredited acupuncture program, I became a Registered Acupuncturist.
By integrating a life sciences research background with traditional Chinese medical principles, I approach patient care with both analytical precision and a holistic perspective. In clinical practice, I emphasize careful assessment, targeted treatment strategies, and gentle, effective techniques tailored to each individual’s condition and goals.
Acupuncture can be used to support a wide range of health concerns, from acute and chronic pain to stress-related and internal conditions. We commonly help patients with neck, shoulder, back, knee, and ankle pain, as well as sports injuries such as tennis elbow, carpal tunnel syndrome, and plantar fasciitis.
Our clinic also supports patients experiencing headaches and migraines, abdominal pain, constipation, and other digestive concerns. In addition, acupuncture is frequently used to help manage women’s health issues, including menstrual irregularities and menopausal symptoms.
We also offer cosmetic acupuncture to support facial muscle tone, circulation, and overall skin health, as well as acupuncture-based support for weight management, focusing on metabolism, digestion, stress regulation, and healthy lifestyle balance.
Both acute and chronic conditions are approached with individualized assessment and treatment plans. Please explore our list of conditions to learn how acupuncture may support your health goals..
